CAMERAS
Video cameras offer the ability to monitor your facility in real-time, night or day. Infrared technology allows the monitoring of both indoor and outdoor spaces, even in complete darkness. Cameras are available to create recorded or remote-monitoring systems – in color or black & white. Available in varying sizes, shapes, capabilities and prices, there are a variety of components, which can be customized to fit your business needs. Controls such as pan, tilt and zoom allow for greater real-time investigative power. Color cameras, when utilized with video recording equipment, may increase the value of the evidence in the courtroom since the images are more distinguishable than those in black & white in bright lighting conditions. Most of our cameras are equipped with day/night technology. With this feature, a color picture is transmitted during the day and switches to black & white under low light conditions to preserve picture clarity.

At Onsite Security, we pride ourselves on providing the clearest possible video from our cameras. Without a clear picture to help identify people and faces, the value in having a security system is lost. To provide this clear picture, we only use cameras with very low Lux numbers. A Lux (lx.) is the standard of measuring a security camera's sensitivity to light. Lower numbers mean that less amounts of light are needed to provide a clear picture. For example, a camera that has a level of 1 Lux can provide a clear picture at dusk, whereas a level of .05 Lux provides a clear picture at night in a dimly lit area.

Dome Cameras
Dome cameras vary in style from a hanging dome (pictured on the left) to a dome that attaches directly to the building. A vandal proof dome camera is sealed in a protective dome to prevent it from being tampered with or stolen. It comes with a special tool to enable authorized personnel to get to the camera for maintenance and repairs. Dome cameras are available in color and black & white. They have backlight and white balance features which help keep one area from being washed out. One of the most popular features of some of our dome cameras is their day/night capabilities. This style of camera switches from color to black & white video when lighting conditions get low. They also come with infrared lights that allow for clear picture at night. All of our dome cameras have a stylish appearance which helps them blend well into any setting.

Day/Night Infrared Cameras
Day/Night cameras have the ability to adjust depending on the lighting conditions. During the day, or in adequately lit rooms, the cameras provide color video footage. When the lighting conditions change the camera automatically switches to a black and white video mode so the quality of the video is not sacrificed. Infrared cameras utilize the newest technology to provide a greater range of view and picture clarity at night or in dimly lit areas. Infrared lights are placed around the camera lens and light up when needed. Infrared lights are undetectable to the human eye, but can greatly extend the visibility in low light situations. The distance that can be seen when using an infrared camera can change. Our current selection of infrared cameras range from a viewing distance of 32 to 246 feet in dark conditions.complete listing of available dome cameras and their specifications.

Weatherproof Cameras
When using cameras outside of buildings it is essential that they will not be damaged by rain, snow or any other harsh weather. Our series of weatherproof cameras have a special housing that keeps them safe from the elements. This type of camera is also available with infrared lights to aid in seeing under low light conditions. Weatherproof cameras have many of the same features that you will find on our other styles of cameras, including backlighting, white balance and adjusting from color to black and white as lighting conditions permit. The camera pictured on the left is one of the toughest cameras in our product line. In addition to the weatherproof housing, the lens is protected by tempered glass, which allows it to withstand being shot with a 9mm. This camera works well in car washes due to its durability.

Pan, Tilt, Zoom (PTZ) Cameras
Ever wish you could zoom in on something or see something that is going on just outside your camera view? Now, with our PTZ cameras that can be done while watching live video feed. These cameras allow you to remotely control the camera to focus on one specific area. PTZ cameras are beneficial to companies who have a security station that is staffed round the clock because they have the ability to change their view of an area as a situation requires. Even if you do not have a security guard on site 24/7 you can still reap the benefits from our PTZ cameras using the Object Tracking feature. When enabled, the camera will zoom in and follow any moving object detected. This helps to not only identify people or vehicles, but to record their activities as well. The technology utilized in the camera raises the level of coverage achieved with the security cameras.
